Canada is a place of infinite promise. We like the people, and if one ever had to emigrate, this would be the destination, not the U.S.A. The hills, lakes and forests make it a place of peace and repose of the mind, such as one never finds in the U.S.A  – John Maynard Keynes

I love my homeland
Which is more popularly known as “The Great White North”,
I love it ,
It is place of peace and solitude .
It is a place Where friends & neighbours gather
A place where love and patience dwell.
Wish u all a very Happy 150th Canada Day!!

Canada Day Poems - Happy Canada Day | Happy Independence Day Canada Patriotic Poems

A Patriotic Poem

I've seen some great
things in the great
country I call home.

The land never ceases
to amaze me every
single beautiful day.

From the Rockies to
the Prairies to the
Mari-times that my
girl so dearly loves,
I would not change this
land or leave it
for the world.

There are places I
would go but no
other place I would
stay
because this wonderful
country, Canada, is
the right home for me.

Victory DayAnastasios

Red and white flooded the streets.
Tears flowed down the faces of many.

As cries, yelled out of victory.
It was truly an emotional sight.

Even for the strongest of us.
Who broke down with tears.

On this day, on July 1, 1867.
When we became a proud nation.

When we became Canada.
